Tyler Youngblood part one (rewrite)

I felt the icy wind blow though my open window and i pulled my blanket over my head. I shut my eyes again and tired to fall back to sleep but that didn't work. Fanilly, i sat up in my bed, my light brown hair all messed up and my blanket wrapped around me. I thought about the dream i just had or what i'd like to call my nightmare. Why was i having terrible dreams lately? I know that everyone had nightmares but with me i had been having these nightmare constaly since i had turned 13 back in July. I never told my mom, i hate to worry her. She was a good person and didn't derverse any stress in her life. Her dad died of cancer when she was three and her mom had given her to a foster home a year later. The best things that has happened to her is having me and marrying my stepdad Robert Youngblood. You could say, that meeting my birth father would a good thing but i don't think so, my dad and mom meet at a college where she was studying to be a avitor, she didn't get to finish her degree because i came along after my dad had to leave on some important tirp, the plane he was on, ended up crashing and all the passengers ended up being killed so, i don't really count it. I don't remember my dad, he left the day after i was born and saw me once. I can only remember what i felt that day, a warm strong feeling that i was safe when i am around him. I haven't felt it since he left.
My bedroom door opened and my stepdad Rob stuck his head in the doorway.
"Hey Tyler, it's time to get up." Rob said.
Rob is six foot with a slight tan, he has redish brownish hair and really blue eyes like a summer's day sky, just like mine. I really liked Rob, he is always go lucky and grinning. He's really fun and i swear there is no one in the world like him.
"I'm up, dad" I've always called Rob, dad because he said i could if i really wanted. Rob doesn't have kids and he treats me like i'm his son.
"Okay, your mom has pancakes ready." Rob answered, you couldn't tell that he was southern no matter how hard you tired; Rob lived in Virginia his whole life but he never picked up the accsent. But no one in both of our families did, mom had moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma right before i was born from California and i was born in Tulsa and if you ask me i don't have a single trace of Oklahoma.

That's as far as i got! I will write later, tell me what you think!
